Twas a day like any other day,
No one knew many lives would be taken away.
The tragedy in September,
Was horrifying and will always be remembered.
Airplanes crashing into buildings,
People running without yielding.
We as Americans must take our stand,
And put this terrorism to an end.
We all need to get on our knees,
And turn to God in this time of great need.
He will help us fight this war,
If we trust in His Holy Power.
I weep with a saddened heart,
For those who’ve had loved ones part.
I know God will always stand true,
Like He promised He’ll carry us thru.
