The battle wages on
Fat slowly melts away
But struggle remains
Every single day

Afraid of the scale
Avoiding the mirror
But every day of victory
Makes goals much nearer

Pressing toward the mark
Freedom's around the bend
Though I tend to wonder
If this war will ever end
