She prays for her children everyday,
Hoping to lead them in the right way
Many nights spent on her knees,
Bringing to God, her honest pleas

She teaches her children to read the Word,
Even when the world may find it absurd
Many days spent showing them the way,
So, when they are older they will not stray

Mothers are truely a gift sent from above,
With their gentle embrace and unfailing love
Deserving to be honored more than just today,
We ought to honor our Mothers everyday
